Group 88 is a well established group, with some helpers having been members for decades. We usually take younger children (aged 10-15) from local schools as well as some through word of mouth. We have 2 or 3 big fund-raisers throughout the year with helpers also fundraising within their local communities.
The founding group of the South West, Group 37 “The Green Machine” take children to Lourdes from all over the South West and as far away as Cyprus. We are a group based on faith, family, fun and friendship.
Group 20 is the local group for the North Staffordshire area. Our group leader has been involved with HCPT for many years and started leading the group in 1997. The group has about 14 helpers and 8-10 children who have a great time in Lourdes at Easter.
Group 171 takes between 8 to 10 children each Easter to Lourdes. The group takes children with a variety of needs, giving them an opportunity of a fun filled pilgrimage. As our group slogan says “nothing but fun with 171!”

Every Easter, Group 41 takes 7 children to Lourdes, France for a pilgrimage holiday. The children are accompanied by around 16 helpers including nurses and a doctor. The children are disabled or have had a lot to cope with in their young lives. It is always a humbling experience for us to see these children…

Children are recommended to HCPT Group 193 by the local primary schools with whom we have significant links. Throughout the year the group is engaged in fundraising so that the cost to families is nil.
