The group travels to HCPT’s Hosanna House every July or August. Student helpers are from Ratcliffe College, a Roman Catholic school. The group also has links with Rosminian parishes in Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Our group is based in St Aidan’s Church, Coulsdon, but our group members are spread all over the UK and Europe. We actively encourage young people from our local secondary schools to join our group. Our fundraising helps both our sick and disabled guests but also young people and disadvantaged people.
We are a small parish group, which began making the “jumbulance” pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Across Trust, then changed to HCPT in 1993. We fundraise locally to help those unable to finance their own travel and accommodation in Lourdes.
Group 547 is mainly based around Cardiff, Newport and Swansea, but does not impose geographical boundaries. We are a haven for ex HCPT Easter group leaders and regional officers, but cater for a wide range of ages and needs.
Our group travels to Lourdes every two years. We recruit mainly from the Worsley area but we also take people from Greater Manchester. We travel every two years as it gives everyone plenty of time to save for the next trip. We also do a lot of fundraising during our year out.
Each year, with the help of our nurses and enthusiastic volunteers, Group 516 takes people of all ages on a pilgrimage holiday to Hosanna House.
